Multi skilled welder and fabricator role

Role- Welder and Fabricator position
Location – Based close to Lowestoft, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 7.30 – 4.30pm + overtime
Pay rate – Up to £24.00 per hour
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position

Our client is an established organisation who is looking to add to their workshop with a multi skilled welder and fabricator.
Applicants will be conversant with MIG and TIG practises and will have worked with Stainless, Aluminium and Mild Steel materials.

Main duties will include –
• Taking raw materials and turning them into finished products by cutting, bending, welding, and shaping various metals.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to determine product specifications and dimensions.
• Using various power and hand tools, such as grinders, saws, and drills, to shape and cut metal pieces to fit specific designs.
• Operating and maintaining equipment and tools to ensure their proper functioning and safety.
• Inspect and test finished products for defects and ensure they meet industry quality standards and customer requirements.
• Attending team meetings to provide status updates on project progress and work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Candidate attributes –
 Previous experience in similar role
 Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to work to customer specifications
 Flexible with working hours as and when the client requires
 Driving licence – due to the location of the premises
