CNC Turning position

Role – CNC Turner position
Location – Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time position
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – £31,200 – £35,360 per annum

Our client based close to Thetford is currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join their workshop team. This is a great opportunity to join a family run and long standing and reputable organisation.

Applicant will need working experience working with –

– Daewoo Puma 230M with live tooling
– Daewoo Puma 2000SY with live tooling
– Nakamura-Tome TMC-30

Main duties will include
 Setting, operating and programming CNC Lathes
 Read and interpret engineering drawings
 Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions
 Inspect finished components to ensure they meet customer specifications

Candidate attributes –
 Must be able to work on own initiative
 Will need ideally 6+ years working experience in a similar position
 Understanding of basic maths and logic controllers.
