CNC Operator position

Role – CNC Operator position
Location – Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Thursday – 7.00am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.00am – 1.30pm
Rate of pay – Up to £16.88 per hour
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position

Our client is recruiting for a CNC Operator to join their workshop based team. Candidates will need to be proficient and experienced within CNC machinery.
An immediate start maybe available for the right candidate.
Main duties will include –
 Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling
 Setting the machine parameters, selecting the appropriate CNC program, securing the workpiece, starting the machine and supervising machining operations.
 Following all company policies and safety protocols.
 Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
 Strictly following guidelines for operating machinery.
 Setting up equipment using proper calibration procedures.

Candidate attributes –
 Previous experience in a similar position
 CNC operating knowledge
 Working in a workshop environment
 Good communication skills both written and verbal
