Role – Assembly Operator role
Location – Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours – Wednesday to Saturday, Thursday to Saturday – 6.00am – 6.00pm
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position
Rate of pay – Up to £16.49 per hour

Our client is currently looking for an addition to their workshop by employing an assembly operator within a temporary to permanent assignment.

Main duties will include –
• Checking that items are fully assembled
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed on the assembly line
• Troubleshooting any issues found during production
• Reading and deciphering schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Positioning or aligning components and parts
• Using hand tools or machines to assemble parts
• Conducting quality control checks
• Cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment
• Operating and maintaining automated machinery used to assemble parts, components, and products

Candidate attributes –

 Mechanical aptitude and dexterity using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
 Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
 Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
 Attention to detail and accuracy
 Teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues
 Familiarity with workplace safety protocols
 Proficiency in operating cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
